We aim to provide high quality teaching and learning in a disciplined, supportive and motivating atmosphere, using our Specialist Science College status and our High Performing Specialist School status to continue to raise standards of achievement across the whole school.

Our distinctive ethos ensures that we focus constantly on teaching strategies and learning styles to meet the needs of individual students. We have a clear emphasis on high standards of behaviour and uniform.

Contextual Value Added Scores for all schools across the country have just been published and I am delighted to say that at 1023, ours is excellent and one of the best in Hampshire.  This is a real achievement and cause for celebration. Given that we knew that ASC had met and exceeded challenging targets, the CVA is as expected. Nevertheless it confirms that we are getting it right and that our focus on being a high achieving and inclusive school in which all children really do matter, is paying off. My thanks to parents, governors, staff and all pupils for all their hard work and effort.
